Rosenkrantz Tower
Formerly the home of Bergen’s governor, this tower was built in the 1560’s.
Right next to the harbor, the five story spiral staircase up the tower rewards your efforts with a fantastic view from the lookout in the octagonal cupola.
You’ll also find several guns at the top of the tower, which were installed during construction since this was to be the home of the governor and a defense site for battles.
Take a tour of the castle next door for interesting tales of Bergen history.
